"Grace Under Pressure: The Art of the Meal"
Shrimp cocktail. Spaghetti. Olives. These are not words that sound particularly menacing, but if you're an intern or new hire, and these foods are at your first business meal, they can be terrifying.
Your adeptness at a meal, be it an interview, business function, or social event, can make or break you. And of course it's not just the food, it's when to eat, what to say, and how to act.
This Dining Etiquette workshop brings together everything you need to know about eating in the real world. It's presented in a fun, engaging manner to really drive home the finer points of dining.
It starts with the basics: table settings, manners, and dining protocol. Then we tackle the tough stuff like "problem" foods, spilling, and even how to order and what to drink.
Of course no dining etiquette program is complete without an actual meal with real food. Participants get a chance to test out their new knowledge in front of the watchful eye of a veteran diner who has eaten dinner with corporate CEOs, Fortune 500 executives and even the likes of Larry Bird and Charles Barkley (not that he learned anything from those two!).
The presentation, just like at a fine meal, is critical to the success of this program. Engaging presenter Brad Karsh brings his unique style and energy to the workshop making sure everything taught is real, tangible, and practical.
To insure the participants remember what they learned, each leaves with a dining etiquette "cheat sheet" covering everything taught in the course.
